One of a kind

I remember the first day we met, you had lockedyourself out of the pub you had just moved into and lost your keys, I was then told I needed to train you and keep an eye on you... safe to say I didnt have much hope! well you soon turned into one of my favourite ever people.

You certainly were a challenge. From flooding thecellar to turning up for a shift on the wrong day, being kidnapped by a drunk customer and always winding me up for not being able to be angry and introducing yourself to the pub at every raffle,my name is Reece became a regular quote!

Never a dull moment. The positivity when you first found out about your illness is something I will carry with me forever. All the people that moan and stress about the little things in life and then theres you, still causing chaos at every given opportunity and just living your life to the full.

I am so glad that we got to spend so much time together especially over the last year. I am glad Icould comfort you and reassure you when you needed it most.

I will never forget coming into the ward and just hearing your loud voice or laugh or hearing a nurse shouting at you for using your drip as a skateboard!

Sitting on your bed playing cards, watching bridesmaids because I forced you to, playing pool, spending hours seeing how big of an afro we could get the shaving foam to make on your head, random hour phone calls talking about anything andeverything to saying goodbye to you. So many memories that I will never forget.

You were a little brother to me, no matter how much you annoyed me and wound me up, you meant the absolute world and would always go above and beyond to help me. One of kind. Rest easy, I miss you.
